Peter M - Lane Cove, Sydney

Early in his career, Peter worked in the fields of Electronic Engineering. He has been a production and sales manager in a number of Electronic and computer companies; some of his strengths are in the areas of staff training. In the late 1980’s Peter moved from engineering, to self-employment.
His keen desire to continue in the areas of training led him to start a Driving School in 1989. He established Peters Driving School and North Shore Driving School, to train novice drivers. Over the years, the driving school expanded and so the need of quality trainers, he sought to expand the driving school to include training for driving instructors.
At this point, the company that Peter operated was called North Shore Peters Driving School. In 2001, Peter has also established PVET Institute with the intention of providing new driving instructors with the skills and knowledge to teach young people safe driving skills.
Sherif completed Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 1984. He has successfully completed Induction Training in Occupational Health and Safety (now WHS) in 2003 and obtained Certificate IV in Business Management in 2005. Sherif currently holds the Certificate IV in Driving Instruction and is a qualified Driving Instructor and Senior Trainer for the Driving Instructor course.
Robert’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and a Diploma of Education (Secondary) from the University of Sydney. Robert is a very experienced secondary mathematics teacher. He is a member of the Teachers Federation and classified as an approved member of the Catholic Education Office by the NSW Department of Education. In addition, he is accredited as a proprietor / examiner by the Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers. He is highly valued by our organisation not only for his knowledge and skill as a trainer but also for his enthusiasm and dedication.
Zoe has an extremely professional approach to training. Previously, Zoe had extensive experience in the Medical Science field. She has the latest qualification as an approved driving instructor as well as TAA and TAE Training and Assessment qualifications.
Sam has vast experience in training and teaching safe driving to young people. He has owned and operated his own driving school on the Sunshine Coast and now operates in Sydney’s South.
Michael has been a professional driving instructor and trainer within the industry for 20 years and has extensive knowledge of the industry. He has worked with many established driver training businesses and is regarded as one of the most professional and knowledgeable trainers in the industry.
Damian has a Bachelor of Education and has taught for 17 years holding a number of coordinator positions. These involved coaching sports, teaching road safety and drug and alcohol education. He has also marked the Higher School Certificate for the past 5 years. Currently, he runs Coast Driver Training in Coffs Harbour. He is also a member of the Australian Driver Trainers Association (ADTA).
Steve is a highly qualified trainer and assessor and has been with PVET for over 15 years. In the past, for 12 years, Steve trained new police officers for highway patrol at the Goulburn Police Academy. He then became a driving instructor and established 6th Gear Motoring. His wealth of knowledge and experience in driver training shows in his professionalism and approach to driving instructor training.
He has also been a facilitator and coach for Safer driver course for PCYC Goulburn Mittagong, Campbelltown and Picton courses since 2015- 2023. Also Steve was involved in a Learner driver program, as Facilitator and instructor for Pheasant wood race circuit in Marulan, 2021 – 2024.
Stewart is a driver training expert, with more than 35 years in motoring. He is a qualified motor mechanic, has a Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training and has trained thousands of drivers in Australia and New Zealand. Stewart is a professional test driver for VSCCS vehicle certifiers and has a racing and rally driving background. He has delivered evidence to the Federal Senate and NSW Stay Safe committees regarding road safety and played a part in creating the Safer Driver Course for Learner Drivers in NSW. As a facilitator, Stewart has conducted thousands of training sessions and is easy to get along with.
